The design of the circuit is completed. My partner asked me to double check if the circuit is in the correct position and i found out there was an error and made the correction. The rest of the connection is normal. During our troubleshoot in conducting the experiment, we applied the battery source which was 3V and 3V. Once the battery source was inserted, the motor did not function. Later, we tested it with the IDL - 800 Digital Lab, the motor functioned.
The problems that we asked ourselves was how come the battery source that we used did not work but the digital lab can? After some troubleshoot done with the circuit, we found out that there was a mistake with the placement of capacitor. It was short circuit due to the wrong position placed. Even though we corrected the capacitor position, the problem remains. After 1 hour of trying to find the solution, we did not have enough time and decided to continue the next day.

Log : Day 1 ( 12/10/10)
From 10:30-12:30 we started to put the circuits into place. With the circuit diagram given, we used some of the tools that was handed to us and most of them that we have bought from Jalan Pasar. The only difficult part was putting the circuits into the correct position because there were many corrections and we had to be careful to avoid short circuit. Only one confusing part which was the potentiometer. There were 3 connecting wires which was the collector, base, and emitter terminal and three of those wire had different colors. Moreover, when it comes to the motor, we used a toy car to make the project work. We only needed to solder the wire from the circuit onto the motor.After that is completed, we continued on checking the circuit and troubleshoot was conducted. We stopped here and decided to continue the following day.
